Widget & preview
Previewing a product
Section titled “Previewing a product”Every product detail page has a Preview button. It opens the try-on widget in a new tab, running exactly as a customer would see it, using a short-lived scoped link generated just for that preview. This is the fastest way to check a product looks right before you put the button on your live storefront.
Previewing doesn’t count against your plan’s try-on usage — open it as many times as you need while you’re getting a product ready.
Install Widget page
Section titled “Install Widget page”Once a product is enabled and ready, its install snippet shows up on the Install Widget page in the sidebar. For each active product you’ll find:
- A product row with its title, category, and ID.
- A ready-to-copy
<script>tag scoped to that product.
The page also covers the “Try On” button snippet (one, reused across every product page) and, in an Advanced section, optional add-ons: showing related products inside the try-on modal, and auto-opening try-on from a URL parameter (handy for ads, email, or QR codes). If you manage products through the API, Storefront integration covers the same two-snippet pattern in more depth.
